Iqra School is a stated-integrated area School located in central Auckland that was established in 2016. The school was formed by the Algoritmi Education Trust with the mission "to become a leading Auckland school providing the utmost quality of education to children in an Islamic environment". 

 

The school currently caters for students from Year 1 to Year 7. Our students come from a range of backgrounds and cultures. At Iqra we teach the New Zealand curriculum (English, Math, Science, Social sciences, Arts, Physical Education/Health, Te Reo) along with special character subjects the Arabic language, Quran and Islamic studies.

 

It is our mission to provide each student, in partnership with families and the wider Muslim community, an education that meets the academic, physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs. At Iqra students will receive an education that prepares them for success in further education to help them become responsible contributing citizens to make a positive difference to wider society and global community.
