Dear Iqra School Community,

On behalf of everyone at Iqra School, I am delighted to share some wonderful news with you all. Thanks to your incredible generosity and unwavering support, we raised a remarkable $30,000 during our recent Iftar Nights fundraiser!

This substantial amount will play a pivotal role in helping us bring our proposed playground project to life. The playground will offer our children a safe, engaging, and fun space to play, learn, and grow – and it is all possible because of the kindness and commitment of our community.

We are deeply grateful for your contributions, whether through donations, time, or participation in the event. Your support makes a world of difference, and we are inspired by the sense of unity and care that defines the Iqra School community.

Once again, thank you for your generosity and for helping us take a significant step toward enriching the educational experience for our students. We look forward to seeing the positive impact this new playground will have on our children, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Dear Iqra Family,

This is just a reminder about the orphan fundraiser that began in March.

This year, we aim to sponsor seven orphans, with each sponsorship costing $1,000. Through this initiative, we strive to teach our students how to put Islamic values into action while fostering a sense of community service and responsibility towards the Ummah.

You can send the donation with your child, and they can place it in the Sadaqa Jar, which will be kept in each classroom. Your child will also get an envelope to take home this week to collect money from family, relatives and neighbours if possible. Every penny makes a difference. Remember, it’s not the amount that matters, but the intention (niyyah)!

Please know that Wednesday 26 March is the final day for giving to this cause. Thank you for all your support with this.
