Dear Parents,

We are excited to let you know that our Second-Hand Uniform Shop  and our New Uniform Shop is open and available for all families. This initiative is a great way to recycle gently used school uniforms, offering affordable options for your children as they grow as well as new uniforms, unused and ready for children to wear.

Details of the Shop:

●        Location: In the First Aid room, next to reception, Iqra School

●        Opening Hours: Tuesdays 8:30am-9:30am and Thursday 8:30-90:30am

●        Items Available: A variety of gently used uniforms, including shirts, trousers, skirts, dresses, and jumpers.

●        Pricing: All items are priced around half of the full price of the uniforms at The Warehouse.

As you know we are transitioning from NZ Uniform to The Warehouse as our uniform provider.  Most items are significantly discounted from NZ Uniform.  A price list is below. Also a picture of the products and a link to purchase them online is attached.

We encourage all parents to consider donating any unused or outgrown school uniforms. This will not only help other families but also promote sustainability within our school community.

Donations can be dropped off during the opening hours above.  If you would like to have the school sell your child’s uniform on your behalf, we will note your account details and you will receive 50% of the sale profit.

Assalamu Alaikum IQRA Family,

As we embrace the blessings of Ramadan, we are launching an exciting Class Competition to support the 7 orphans our school has sponsored for the past nine years. This is a chance for our students to race toward a noble cause while earning a special reward for their teamwork!

The Goal: $1,000 per Class
Each class is challenged to raise $1,000 for our global orphan sponsorship fund. To help achieve this, students will bring home a Sponsorship Envelope today. We encourage them to reach out to family and friends to help fill their envelopes with Sadaqah.

The Reward for the Winners:
The first class to reach the $1,000 goal will win:

A Uniform-Free Day!
A Special Fun Activity arranged by the Special Character Team and their Class Teacher.
This isn't just a competition; it is a lesson in Ihsan (excellence). Let’s see which class will lead the way in generosity this year!

Teachers will collect the envelopes daily and keep classes updated on their progress toward the "finish line."

Thank you for supporting your children in this journey of giving. Every dollar brings us closer to securing the future of an orphan in need.
